YES! THIS is what I have been saying FOREVER!!! WHy the HELL would you focus all the time, energy and money on Mars which isn't even a good planet to colonize and still has the same problems as Earth (could be taken out by an asteroid)?! A large biodome space station/ark can MOVE, so it immediately overcomes the problem(s) of a planet as far as not being able to move away from threats!
