  1. This is hardly a surprise. back then, for men to date teens wasn't considered that unusual. Also, the teen girls wanted to date them. They married and had kids at that age. In many cultures around the world, this is still considered normal. There's also the factor of women maturing faster than men to consider ( with the era, i mean). He was clearly, himself, very young, under-educated and naive. Don't get me wrong, i am VERY glad we are more advanced and enlightened and educated about psychological development and health nowadays, i'm just saying, i don't think this story is as shocking or nasty as this sensational 'story' is being presented as....
