Maybe she’ll change her mind when she realizes that having you as just a friend isn’t an option, but that’s not the objective. And even then, there’s a good chance she’s just panic impulse saying yes, and will leave you when she finds the man she was waiting for, that she wanted you to ease her wait by being an orbiter. If she doesn’t want you, you don’t want a relationship with her, it’s that simple
