  1. I was hitch hiking once was down to my last $5 was hungry. Went to a Wendy's talked to the mgr told him I would clean his bathrooms for a meal . I told him it would be so clean he could serve my meal on the floor of the bathroom. I told him I worked at Wendy's back home and nobody wants to clean the bathrooms I saw it as a honor to clean them because a lot of people go to the bathroom first and if it's not right they will not eat there.

  2. Oh I totally forgot my longest homeless stint. Fake friend came to 70380 MCLA. Said come back to Houston you will get a job the day you arrive. You can stay with me well he was a scrub at his dad's place and dad's not cool. My FF dropped me off at the stop n go c store. For 2 weeks I slept with my back to the wall under a phone booth. Each day my FF would get me and I would rode to SW Houston to work. My first check went to six flags. My FF was acting like he was a miracle man. I hadn't had a good night sleep no shower for a week. I'm drained and this prick only wanted to have fun. He could care less I slept in the rain skeeters , drunks fighting. I couldn't go find a place to build a shanty because I would miss my ride to work. After 2 weeks finally convinced a coke dealer to let me crash there for a fee. Coke heads are paranoid they don't understand you don't do coke because it's very addictive. Never wanted to try coke they were freaking out calling me a narc . I wasn't stupid knew I can't afford drugs could barely eat.

  3. I was very fortunate to have a pup tent and a MC. I would ride my bike into the woods pop my tent stealth camping. You can tie a hammock up in places nobody else can use. Shugemery YT channel teaches you how to setup your hammock to do -25°. I got caught in a bad way on crutches in Cudahy CA. I had to sleep rough a couple of nights when my wife put me outdoors. The weather was ok.

  4. You want to warm your core that's why hot water bottles work so well. I sometimes use safety pins to clip a heating pad in my jacket. Get to a plug I turn it on warm up and get that core temperature up. Sometimes you get to a place that people are there for internet and coffee Carry a plug that expands the outlet so if all the plugs are used you can cut you off a plug for your stuff.

  5. A great way to stay warm is potato. You get them hot by boiling or baking them and put them in your pocket. You can eat them once they cool off or reheat and use them for warmers.

  6. 2 contractor bags can save your life. Packing shells, rry leaves, boiled up newspaper in the bag keep you warm and dry.

  7. This summer I bought 3 sets of coveralls insulated and they are very warm. Just bought a 150cc scooter and put on a 3X coveralls just fit inside it. But I had a nice warm ride.
