  1. I've owned 4 different hybrids. 2 gen 2, 2 Prius V. All 4 ran ideally , I needed to go I went. Bought 1 new , 2 from buy and fly dealer's (paid cash). 05 gen 2had over 200k miles. I haven't had a breakdown for over 17 years. The last one from a forced retirement air force mech. He kept A10 flying. He has motor oil in his veins. My car he bought $800 engine $800 he put a 23K miles engine in a 200K+ miles 12 V car. He also took the car to an ac pro spent $1K on that. Drove it for about 6 months and sold it. If you want somebody driving a car for 6 months you want a tech that is a perfectionist and capable of the work. $6K I paid for the car just before Trump was asked to leave the white house. Gas was priced low so buying a hybrid was dumb. But I have slept in them and I know that it's not just a car. This car was in excellent condition when I got it. Was driving dad around and wanted reliability. When I first got it had to make 2 Trip from 70380 to Shreveport. I've driven it to Phoenix -70380 and ran her hard. 110 mph to pass trucks before they hit grade and slowed down the entire interstate . I set the cruise for 80mph. I also wanted a vehicle I could live out of if hurricane destroyed my house. I bring this up bc I hear so many people say that they have breakdown and issues with climate. The hybrid is made to be used everyday. The more you run It the better your return will be. Again I beg anybody in the mkt , for your own benefit get a efficient proven hybrid. Today you can make your rent but later you just never know. A few wrench turns you open your vehicle to huge space. A car that doubles as a generator. They had hurricanes up in New Jersey area and there's a video of a guy who took his Toyota Prius hybrid plugged in his refrigerator TV light and fan.
