With very low cost living I can use my funds better. My only monthly luxury is my cell plan it went from $25 a month to $55 so I could get data. This Allowed me to geek the internet at home. Yes I make all my comments on the phone. Hence I don't do a good job of editing as I use to when I had full on internet and a laptop. Don't pay for storage I got room for storage here at home. $900 a month for food? Awww hell naw go use internet at McDonald's way cheaper than the Denny's. Bring an extension cord that will allow you to make more use of outlets this is what I would do when I get to a place that has a lot of geeks . $7 Walmart and you have a great cord turns one into 3. Allows you to get away from the outlet too. She really needs to learn about cooking in the car with a rice pot. Oh I am debt free living in Louisiana.

  15. This is such a touchy situation because it is the line of capitalists and socialists. It is where people get where they have to have help to get out the hole. Capitalists often want no help given to the homeless because they make their money off the homeless unfortunate position. They don't care if you are a worker either they want to force you to pay somebody for a place to stay and often it is over priced. I can live out a car,van, sailboat, or hidden camp as long as I have a health-club membership to shower. The places that have issue with homeless are usually warmer sites. Places that are logical to stay when there is piles of snow elsewhere.

  25. You can own property and still get pressure from munucipality. They are not cognatant or are careless when it comes to low income residents. I pay the requirements, just don't keep house like they think is right. I'm preparing for a huge deficit in products that they just refuse to acknowledge is bound to occur. The city has already lost 50% of it's population compared to it's peak in the late 70's. You would think they would consider things have changed and every person willing to stay here should be handled as if you might want them to remain residents. Every year more good move out and they usually don't return. I'm not saying you're good because of your income but your obedience to law . Some really bad characters are moving in the area you can tell by the litter they produce.

  31. I have been homeless but just for a little while. Either doubled up or slept in a tent in the woods beside the interstate. One time I was forced to sleep in the city and had to I was on crutches and the bus quit running. Leave it to a woman to leave you when you are at your most valuable. Called the law booted me from my bed into the streets 9 pm. No warning and I hobbled to the park. Cops came said I had to leave the park. I was already bleeding under the arms and now they want me to move again ? I slept behind a dumpster that night. I had gout undiagnosed I was a trucker good worker 80+ hours a week and I gave her the money to take care of us. Gout should be covered under workers comp just so a good career isn't ended for nothing. Medicine keeps it under control.
