  2. Taxes are not the ONLY reason they leave.There are other bonus GUN LAWS ,MARIJUANA LAWS are great reasons to leave too. Because of CA,IL,NY,DC gun laws I will not even consider visiting those states. OK have such an obtuse view of marijuana that if you have any MJ in your system at all they will gig you with a DUI. So if you visit CO to legally partake of herb AVOID OKLAHOMA. IMHO best to live in border state and get the benefits of multiple states.

  3. I want to build a concrete dome home but I still have to follow the zoning codes for a wooden structure? They want so many windows etc for fire? It is made of Concrete it does not burn sure the contents could bur but if you made your home air tight it would not burn long before smoldering out. Also the home uses 1/3 the energy it requires less electrical could possibly go off grid if you wanted. Sure code is good but it mostly drives price up and business to other markets.

  5. There are people that are homebound or on disability and can move to some of those houses. Not a sure 100% fix but why not draw those people to Detroit with free houses they would in turn provide a base to build on. That would sell groceries, provide money to the medical, get some honest people in there that just want to have a decent place to live. It would take people out of high rent locations free up some space for a worker and just make sense?

Portugal has a better model just decriminalize and drug prices drop when prices drop the dealers stop trying to sell drugs in turn there are less addicts introduced to drugs.You have to offer treatment to addicts some defeat the addiction and become good citizens again.

The future will be people on the corner dealing cookies and cokes after they decriminalize drugs. Reason FDA will shoot down those as not being healthy foods people will still want them and another prohibition will be under way. The best thing the Government can do is fire most of their alphabet soups and let things reset. We need environmental protection but true protection.

HOA communities now throw money at every problem you lose funds you are run out of town that is not fair shit happens people get injured or sick. A true community would have understanding they share food they help repair and they shoot your burglar.

  11. Go ahead make tobacco illegal people will not pay all those taxes they pay when they buy smokes over $35 a carton. When I smoked I got a carton of winston $10.50 only needed a carton a week no big I always had smokes. Today you can get a used bike cheaper than a carton of cigarettes. What next food tax well now that I mention that they already passed the law HR 2751 read that POS leglislation they passed Christmas eve a couple of years ago. FDA will be the new DEA ! They want guns to starve us.

We need many tiny communities once you establish these the people will attract larger business that will bring the area back this is Detroit's only hope that they rule and the CITY IS DESTROYED. I believe the first step is to provide some help to the homeless that are living in cars or RV then they can step into a piece of land then who knows what next but it is a step in the right direct

  14. As long as NY has gun laws where it is illegal for me to carry a loaded gun they will not get me there as a tourists. I go to Atlanta where I am perfectly legal to carry loaded weapons for self defense. Guess what I went in the roughest parts of Atlanta and no one messed with us. See when people are allowed to carry their weapons the thugs know who is in control. I didn't lose anything in NYC !

  17. The government will always keep a reason to search your property so they are making food into drugs. READ HR2751 you will see it too. They probably will decriminalize drugs then say OK now ALL of you are under the radar not just the drug users. People will be dealing cookies and cokes rather than weed and heroine. With Obama care they are trying to say everybody pays for smokers, obesity,heart disease, alcoholism, skateboarding, sky diving you name it you can get hurt they will make it illegal.
