Not necessarily. All they would have to do is create an Avengers movie that happens between Avengers 2 and 3. But they would have to CGI the actors faces to make them look younger.

@manny.3248 It wasn't really analogous to anything happening in the real world except maybe covid lockdowns a little bit, and of course "ray-cizm". But it did come off as pushy and preachy. Especially Falcon's little rant at the end. I actually liked it mostly because of Zemo. He was three steps ahead of everyone else and so he was really a worthy villain. One thing it illustrated but I wish they had just come out and said it, is that nobody but Steve Rodgers ever took the super soldier serum and didn't go crazy to some extent. That is why Zemo was so against it.

@manny.3248 killing off beloved male heroes (Ironman) making them bumbling bufoons, (Thor, Loki), race swapping them, (Ironman, Captain America), or gender swapping them (Black Panther). Or just creating really unlikable female heroes. (Captain Marvel, She Hulk). All because they cannot stand to have males (especially white males) save the day.

No they could simply make a movie that takes place earlier than the Thanos story line. And as far as comic book characters they are always dying and coming back to life. The villains even more than the heroes.
