  2. I think quietly quitting has much more to do with the abysmal management style which was all over American businesses pre - covid. I saw so much depersonalization and out right abuse that it is no wonder that modern workers have zero feelings of loyalty. It is also just a temporary thing. People who are quite quitting are also looking for a way out.

  3.  @tmozzz  I think there is too much of trying to pin people down with labels. I hold some views that are conservative, some that are libertarian, some that are populist, some that are moderate. What am I ? Basically the only thing you could pin me down with is to say I am anti-left. Tim is much the same way he hold differing views on different policies.

  12. Another way to motivate them is when the economy finally completely falls apart (soon), and we are in another great depression. And there will be no government hand outs because the government is not working. That will be the best motivator.

  25. I took early retirement but I am healthy and could still work, I have skills in quality control, machining, shipping and receiving, fork lift, and pipefitting. Will I look for a job ? HELL NO! I hate this decadent, corrupt society and want as little to do with it as possible.
