  8. That is good advice, but only in a red state with sane marriage laws. You have cheaper land prices, generally less crime, and friendlier neighbors.

  9. You need to save at least 50K, have some small source of income, and either a good remote work job or a skill that is in demand everywhere. Thats at minimum. Remember there will be no friends or family to help out or any safety net.

  13. Your dad's advice was crap. As bad as things are to totally ignore females, sex, or having children is not a rewarding life for any man. A tiny handful of genius level artists or philosophers might pull that off, but for everyone else it is lonely, and unrewarding.

  15.  @SegaGentleman  Probably best would be Cebu in the Philippines, Why? because it has a large expatriot community there already, lots of guys who were ex military, but also Canadians, Brits, and Aussies. But my friend there is saying that already housing prices, still low, are going up quickly.
