The lies and exaggerations from the right are a bit different than those of the left because they tend to be directed against the government and the elites. while the current day left tends to support the elites, the government, and manufactured opinions. Thus their enforcement of covid restrictions and the whole vax movement and attacking everyone who had doubts. So even if they both have their problems, and they do, the left, IMO is a lot more dangerous to our rights.
