  7. Listening to your point of view, I find it very interesting. The world lost all respect for the USA at the end of the Cold War. Since that time, the world has just been taking the USA for an easy mark. And that's fair. Because we have been pretty stupid and gullible since 92.

  24. I don't think anybody who understand Russian geography and demography is at all surprised at what Yeltsin, and now Putin, have done since the end of the USSR. They are following the same foreign policy that every Russian government has followed since Catherine the Great set it out. Russia, in order to be secure in her borders, must expand her borders. That means taking over and controlling more people of various nationalities than there are Russians. We all whine about it, but the Russians are doing what they must. And the rest of us are doing what we must. It's a tragedy, but it's unavoidable.
