Ukraine has new weapons while Russia uses rusty rifles and don’t have socks. Sure you can save some money on socks but is it cost effective in the long run? Russian economy is collapsing so they need to be cost effective even if they could buy new weapons.

While orcs live in a plastic wrap tent and save money does not make them a better army. That money went to pootins boat and gold toilets. Just because you don’t spend money on good equipment does not mean that nobody spends that money on something. Same goes for your whole country. Just because you have mud roads everywhere outside a big city does not mean they are as good because concrete roads that the rest of the world has are more expensive.

Then invaded Ukraine thinking they were prepared for it and now buys cheap weapons like old soviet rockets back from NK. Let’s not pretend it’s the same as buying the best weapons out there. He owns those companies. 20 year as a tzar seems about right with 1 billion so yeah that totals to about 300B. Btw the biggest customer of that oil is the EU and that will end in a few weeks. Russia will never make those sales to India and china even if they had the pipes for it.
