Give him Moldova? The rest of Georgia? That's also a reality for him. Almost like saying "Imagine how many lives would have been saved if we gave Hitler everything he wanted" (except the lives of Jews of course). Not possible to negotiate with everyone. They tried negotiating with Putin for a long time. He's chasing some sort of glorification, his name in history books and not a solution for anyone but himself.

Control of Ukraine. The fall of the Soviet Union and Putin's wet dreams about his legacy. That's why he invaded Georgia, Chechnya, Dagestan. And put puppets in those countries plus Belarus and Ukraine. NATO denied Ukraine membership for many years so stop blaming everything on NATO: You really think anyone was planning to invade Russia? Meanwhile Russia has been invading all their neighbors.
