The US backed military coup in Bangladesh has created dire situation for the Hindu minority in that country. Yet the americans who are always so vocal about human rights when it suits them have completed skirted the whole event. Not even issuing a token statement to ask for protection of minorities. Not just that the american MSM like CNN are actively fueling conspiracy theories to paint an even bigger target on the Hindu minority of bangladesh. In Indian strategic community, the opinion about US is at its lowest point since 2001 when Indian govt was under wide ranging US sanctions.
