When I told my mother that two men touched/rubbed/felt my breasts ... I was in the living room alone with those men for 5 minutes, when I was 12, back in 1970s..., my mother told me it was not a big issue, she said; "it has happened to me often at your age, that's how the world is, get used to it!"
I never could get used to it!
I reported all and every man who tried to abuse me, staring in 1980 in Manhattan.
It did happen to me often in my teens, 20s, 30s, 40s....
I was, probably, one of the first women in Hollywood to protest, to complain, to make the abuse as public as I could.
I NEVER felt shame.
I was/am blameless.
But, yes, it was very hard when men belittled me and the truth I told.

After a civil war between Palestinian Arab forces and the Yishuv, Israel declared independence on 14 May 1948 at the termination of the British Mandate. A day later, the surrounding Arab countries intervened, leading to the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, which concluded with the 1949 Armistice Agreements that saw Israel in control of most of the former mandate territory, while the West Bank and Gaza were held by Jordan and Egypt respectively. Over 700,000 Palestinian Arabs were expelled from or fled the territory Israel would come to control, with fewer than 150,000 Palestinian Arabs remaining within Israel. During and immediately after the war, around 260,000 Jews emigrated or fled from the Arab world to Israel.[

@07meisakura Thank you kindly.
I was, I am, I will again be in these situations.
People - Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Austria - are NOT RACIST!
Stop your naive, ignorant and badly placed "songs" about an issue of racism which DOES NOT EXIST in this conflict.
Ukraine is evacuating "it's" citizens first and foremost. Normal!
All other nationals who've lived/studied/worked/vacationed in Ukraine since before this perticular Russian/Kremlin/Putin Invasive WAR - are asked to step aside, and take their place in line.
Normal!
Does this type of main attention toward Ukranian citizens birth certain "racial" tensions?
Yes, indeed! But to cry "racism" - it's stupid.
Russia = a true racist country, a racist government, and a racist people. I know!

@07meisakura I do not need to "look" into historical books - I've lived it, LOL
Been there, seen it, done it...
That's firstly.
Secondly, ...your comment has no merit.
Your WW2 Nazis reference in Ukraine is OFF.
Really, truly - OFF.
You are thus probably under 35, with little understanding of historical events and zero comprehension of either Nazism, Semitism, or Fascism.
I daily read, watch, and listen to Chanels with information on war in Ukraine, in English, German, French, Russian (non RTV, non Kremlin, but free speech Russian Youtube channels )... being fluent in 4 languages and comprehending Latin and Cyrillic texts... I'm on top of daily War happenings.
I recommend you learn a bit more - about Ukraine and WW2 Nazism!
... take care, and live long and prosper!
