@olliegreen3446 Because we had in unbased trust in the west. Today I would not vote for joining to nato. Even when the voting was many many years ago I voted for nato, but not because of fear of Russia. We were kind of tricked both by EU and NATO.

Very funny to call Yanukovich Russian puppet...I remember when he was not called that and current so called democratic politicians in Ukraine just did the same things as he: corruption at sky-high level. Yanukovich had two choice on his desk as a business offer: the EU and the Russian deal. Russian was literally better for Ukraine in that time. He choosed that. And probably also his pocket got more from Russia then from the EU.

Russia wins. Gets all territory gained. USA and Ukraine promises no NATO. Then US pulls Ukraine to NATO as US is not good in keeping promises. Ukrainian mafia takes over Europe competitors. Europe gets more down and down without Russian resources. Europe becomes insignificant US vassal.
