I have all of my money in one asset class: commodities. When they are going up, I buy them. When they are going down, I sell short. I'm very conservative. The covid situation should have shown that a lot of asset classes can go down at the same time. Oil was down, stock market was down, bonds were down, and real estate was down. Isn't the ability to make money if the assets goes down or up better than "diversification?"
