Funny I was born in 1970. Grew up in New York, seen ALL types of immigrants. Where are all those British though? Also, what was the top marginal tax rate back when America was "great" again?

@twoshedsjohnson8540 That's the thing though, the rich ducked the taxes then, and they duck them now! So compare apples to apples when you take your look back. And it doesn't have to be causative, (of a boom) it still disables the right's claim that it's preventative!

@stuartwayne4978 [A] All of the tax structure isn't loopholes. [B] And every loophole has it's white knights in the congress and senate committees the protect it and the "donors" who get rich by it. Meanwhile, we can't keep putting everything on our children's credit card. We need to return to the tax structure that "Made America Great!"
