The big difference between Republicans and Democrats concerning extremism is the fact that the leadership of the Republican party is embracing extremism to seize (or retain) power by force, not by being elected by free and fair elections. The terrorists promoting a race war to bring about a white nationalist Christian theocracy, are now part and parcel of the Republican base. There is no equivalent embrace of extremism by Democratic party leadership. In fact, the Democratic party is the only one of the two major parties dedicated to defending the Republic, self-rule and the democratic process that makes both possible.

  2. You are equating a private business owner choosing to not serve a white nationalist with an armed mob, organized by the leaders of the Republican party, attempting to overthrow our government. One of the greatest indicators of potential radicalization is the loss of status or privilege, perceived or real. Both white Democrats and white Republicans are more susceptible to radicalization because of this fact. That said, the equivalency suggested between civil rights protests by the left, and armed insurrection by the right is discrediting.
