  1. When you're lying so completely to your own troops in order to get them to invade, you aren't in a strong starting position. Soldiers told they were being sent for training exercises and border security are being forced to invade. Reportedly, up to 80% of the forces deployed in Ukraine are conscripts, while only a quarter of all Russian armed forces are conscripts. This is a sh*tshow, and the Ukrainian resistance is just starting.
