  1. The Republican party is not interested in protecting and honoring law enforcement, nor law and order, nor democracy anymore, contrary to their rhetoric. If they were, Sandy Hook would've resulted in the common sense gun laws that 2 in 3 Americans want passed by Congress. They'd also not be lying about January 6th, a direct attack on law and order and democracy. Nor would they be continuing to collaborate with the white nationalist and anti-government domestic terrorist groups they organized for their coup attempt. Every day, the GOP undermines law and order and democracy further.

  2. The parents were informed about everything the school discovered. They had ample opportunity to heed those warnings, as far more authority over him to effect remediation or elimination of the threat he posed.
