The Hollywood Reporter does a good job covering political donations in entertainment, and noted about donations in 2018: "Ahead of the midterm elections, 99.7 percent of 2018 campaign donations made by members of the THR entertainment power list went to Democratic campaigns and committees, with only SNL’s Lorne Michaels, AT&T’s John Stankey and Viacom’s Bob Bakish giving to Republicans."
