  2. It's not hubris, but racism, that keeps the U.S. from having universal healthcare and free college. We can envy less diverse nations for their social democracy all we want, if we keep acting like ALL AGE GROUPS of white voters didn't choose Trump in 2016 and 2020 we won't get universal healthcare. It's the racism that we must address for a stronger U.S., not our marketing of social democracy.
