Just as with humans, the robots are likely to use humans to do their fighting for them. Tragically, it's often much easier to incite violent action with the pen than it is with the sword -- even if the "pen" is just pixels now. @zinjanthropus322 - Elon and Peter don't love you back. I'm not talking about their ability to be secure for their trusted, paying clients in the private or government/military sectors. I'm saying, private citizens across the globe are not respected as having privacy in his eyes. For him, our activities, purchases, browsing, connections, location, biometrics, accounts, relationships, family, and an applied behavioral and psychological model of us are "fair use" to leverage as a commodity of very high value for himself and his trusted clients.

It doesn't change what Thiel does with Palantir and its ilk, what his goals are, and how he views democracy. It's not a benevolent company fighting for democracy against autocracy. It's a cynical capitalist venture which is politically "agnostic" at best and in favor of market stability by any means and corporate welfare at worst. I allege the latter. But they are, by my humble estimation, due to my extended family as Southeast Asian refugees in the Indian diaspora, including many citizens of the U.K. and the Commonwealth countries.

@vanpallandt5799 - I am commenting on an article about the British Empire and making the point that all the former colonies and Commonwealth nations who've been harmed by the British Empire deserve a truth and reconciliation process, and reparations. You brought melanin into the discussion, not me. If you are lobbying for compensation and truth telling for China from the U.K. or anything else -- have at it. But that isn't relevant to my comment or the main context of the follow on discussion. I feel your unexamined bias may be revealing itself.
