This should actually be called the law of the colonizers because it was more common among those working under a crown than those living under the canopy.

@eltorocal - Yes. Tantura should be reported on more widely as the IDF genocide continues. "[Around] 200 Palestinian Arab villagers from Tantura were massacred by the Alexandroni Brigade, which was part of what became the Israeli Defense Force. The massacre occurred following Tantura's surrender, a village of roughly 1,500 people in 1945 located near Haifa."

@FlyingSpaghettiMonster2000 - Extreme violence isn't because of the jungle or its inhabitants, it's because of humanity wherever they habitate. Islam never colonized anywhere, just as Christianity never colonized anywhere. The point you are trying to make is that, like Christian kingdoms, some Muslim caliphates employed extreme violence.
