Netanyahu: "Israel is at war with Hamas." Israel bombs civilians, civilian infrastructure, and non-combatants as they engage in war against Gaza -- a region full of people. If war is on Gaza -- as its being conducted by Israel -- it's not a war on Hamas. It is a war crime and the crime against humanity that is the collective punishment of a population for the actions of a tiny percentage of their population. The United States of America is an accomplice to war crimes when we arm the genocidal campaign against the Palestinians.

@akobirxonorifxonov - If they aren't wielding that gun as a combatant at the time they are attacked, then they are still civilians. Even many settlers are civilians -- and must be treated as civilians until identified as combatants. As you allude to with your sweeping generalization, many Israeli colonial settlers can be identified as combatants before engagement, as they are continually armed and in loosely-organized militias already engaged in hostilities in Palestine and Israel.
