It's also noteworthy that the white majority vote hasn't gone for a Democratic presidential candidate since the Democrats passed the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act in 1964-65. We could do without the duopoly, but that being said, the Republican party mainly acts in the interests of business and the wealthy, while the Democratic party mainly acts in the interests of everyday people and the working class.

  4. White nationalist and anti-government terrorist violence is the number one threat to Americans. The Republican party is dominated by its white nationalist minority and is ready to abandon democracy and install a dictator. Because they have no saleable policy ideas and use disinformation and lies consistently to stir up fear and resentment, this is a one way trip into fascism and ignominy.
