  1. Anyone suggesting the Academy is stained by this incident without mentioning Roman Polanski, Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen, and Kevin Spacey is not presenting a full picture of the Academy. The claim the Academy asked Will to leave is not corroborated by anyone at the awards who isn't an employer of the Academy. That is suspicious, in my opinion.
