Unlike every President since Nixon -- whose crimes forced a change in our laws about presidential records -- Trump didn't just have presidential records kept on his behalf by the government. Trump had more than 300 classified documents (comprising more than 700 pages) with no security, and not kept on the former President's behalf by the National Archives and Records Administration in secure facilities.

Donald Trump and the Republican party -- unless and until they censure and expel him -- are the greatest threat to all Americans and American democracy. This isn't simply "Trump supporters", this is an active and ongoing insurgency whose goal is a Christian nationalist autocracy that has already engaged in one violent and armed insurrection -- as a core part of the long planned coup d'etat attempt orchestrated by a cabal of pro-white nationalist Republicans at the top of all three branches of the U.S. government -- and which is now actively threatening another violent armed campaign of terrorism and violence up and through the 2024 election where they will attempt to install a dictatorship, led by Trump or otherwise.
