  16. As a white U.S. voter, I wish my constituency accepted that we own Trump; no matter how we voted personally. Since the passage and signing of the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act in 1964 & 1965, the white vote has not picked the Democratic Presidential candidate -- for 60 years, the white vote hasn't accepted suffrage or civil rights for all. The U.S. has always had a home for the anti-democratic white nationalist voting bloc; it was the Democratic party for a long time -- and since the Civil Rights era, it has solidly been the Republican party.
