  2.  @tekannon7803  - Netanyahu chose to elevate Hamas' power and role specifically to thwart a two-state solution. Israel is currently engaged in ethnic cleansing (the elimination and/or forced removal of a group from an area). They blew a chance to garner greater sympathy and allegiance from the global community because of bigotry and rage.
