Scotland doesn't collect enough tax revenue to fund its spending on public services. Scotland has a 15 Billion black hole in their budget every year.

@phoebus45 I think you will find nothing has been stolen. Scotland collects half a Billion in tax revenue from Gas and Oil. That leaves the SNP with an over spend of 15 Billion a years. Only some of that Oil and Gas tax revenue belongs to Scotland. Scotland collect the tax revenue because that is where the oil and gas is shipped/piped to. Dont forget the Scottish Isles have said they well vote to leave Scotland and become a Crown Dependence if Scotland votes to leave the UK. Leaving Scotland with Zero rights to north sea gas and oil. So your argument is null and void.

@phoebus45 Your talking rubbish. The residents/owners of the Scottish Isles have stated very clearly they would break away from Scotland to become a Crown Dependence like Jersey and Guernsey, if Scotland voted to leave the UK. Scotland would lose it's access to 95% of it's fisheries and 100% of its rights to North Sea Oil & Gas and a lot of the renewable energy off shore. They would become the most wealth people in the UK over night. Why would you think anyone will believe your lies? Scotland doesn't own the Scottish Isles. LOL The SNP has a 15 Billion black hole in their budget every year. They spend 15 Billion more than the SNP/Scotland collects in taxes every year. That is using the SNP's/Scotlands own data. If your going to try and make things up, at least try to make them partially believable. LOL Since the 2014 Scots Referendum the SNP have racked up more than 100 Billion in over spending. Even before you consider the financial impact/cost of Covid (now and in the future) The SNP have been in power 14 years and racked up 300 Billion in over spending. That is Scotlands national debt that Scotland would have to repay to the rest of the UK. Dont forget Scotland cant raise loans using the UK Pound Sterling. That means Scotland would see a minimum 49% tax increase over 20+ years and public service spending would have to be slashed for 20 years before it came close to meeting the EU's criteria to join the block. Wave goodbye to free NHS and Benefits and State Pensions and free University Education. After 20 years of Scottish poverty would the EU ever let Scotland join the block? Do they want another Greece in the EU? Let's not forget most of Scotlands financial sector businesses will move to England. If they were going to move to the EU they would have already done it before the end of 2020. So it's going to take a lot more than 20 years for Scotland to clear it's national debt and start to balance the books. SNP fiction and lies wont pay the bills in Scotland.

@phoebus45 Your say the SNP/Scotland had a choice in 2014 to have a referendum. You attempt to say the Scottish Isles dont have a right to vote for Independence? LOL

@deadlydundee Scotland can't borrow money. You don't have your own currency. Scotland just overspend English tax payers money. The SNP can't balance the books. Next you will attempt to say oli revenue from oil landed in Scotland but fail to mention 80% of that revenue is from English owned oil. Next you will attempt to state Scotlands financial sector which on mass will move to England the moment Scotland became independent. (Oh wait Scotland wouldn't be independent because it would be an EU slave member) The majority of valuable property in Scotland isn't owned by Scottish people. Got on mention scottish fish that actually belong to the Scottish Isles (Not the Scottish mainland) The Scottish Isles have clearly stated they would become a crown dependent. Happy to educate you further. I know you need education because the SNP have decimated the Scotlands education system. Do you need to learn about the Barnet formula? That is English tax payers money funding your public services. That was designed to run for 3 years and 15 years later English tax payers are still funding the SNP's financial failures.
