In many municipalities, official red light running is several feet past the crosswalk. So. Once again. You have NOT run a red light everywhere, if you cross the first white line, it's usually a colored line beyond the crosswalk which is officially 🚫 illegal. But you are a jerk 👎👎 for entering the crosswalk.
