  1. Mick Ryan's a fair dinkum good guy. I used to live in Australia, grew up there, moved to Ukraine almost a decade ago. My Ukrainian wife lost her home in the DNR in 2014 and we had to abandon the new flat last year i bought in Pokrovsk to replace it a few years back. He's defintely up there with the other retired "top brass" like Ben Hodges, Phil Breedlove, Wesley Clrake and Admiral Foggo. I really appreciate how they tirelesly advocate for victory so that my wife and I and all other Donbas refugees, can go back to home one day after being IDP's in west Ukraine for almost a year now.

  2.  @awf6554  A simple look at recent history over the last century demonstrates that claim is bunk. 100 years ago ethnographic maps showed all the land to the river Don was ethnic Ukrainian lands, ethnically cleansed by the Bolsheviks. Now 100 years later they did the same think, drove out all the Ukrainians (all of whom spoke Russian there mind you). Russian speaking does not mean "is Russian", just llike english speakers in Australia "are not Englanders", same with Americans etc. But the toxic propagandists peddle the nonsense you mentioned without any of the aforementioned qualifications!
