  1. Brilliant episode Mr Harris. Your postulation on manufacturing anything modern form scratch like a smart phone, had me thinking that was unfair, in that maybe let's even it up a bit and make it more simple and fair (like when Elon bet you that covid-19 would not exceed 35,000 cases and you offered a more fair bet of 35 million and he refused and promptly lost the bet and cheated you and the charity of a million bucks), so could anyone make a simple thing like a toaster ? Ok, so the smart-asses would say, build a fire and put a slice of bread on a stick, there's your "toaster". Ok fine, so can they make the bread from scratch ? Grow some wheat, harvest it, grind it down, to get flour, then add a water, make dough, then bake it to make bread, then manufacture a knife to slice the bread and put it on a stick in a fire to toast it. I doubt any modern person, including me, could make the bread from scratch (not gong to the supermarket and buying flour but MAKE the flour!) let alone mine and smelt the iron for a knife and forge it.
