  1. IMHO,Tsar Putin represents a ideology of ruzzian neo-imperialism & wants to expand the current ruzzian empire (it is a "federation" in only but name). Tsar Putin misses the superpower status the USSR had but he does not miss the communism (he needs capitalism to steal and enrich himself & his kleptocrats). The USSR was just a continuation of the ruzzian Empire by revolutionaries tearing it down then recreating it under communism, they are indeed opposites as you state Pyotr, or but the intent was the same , domination + expansion. The mistake at the end of the cold war was everyone thought, "Great, we defeated communism, problem solved!" [WRONG]. Communism was just an temporary iteration of the real problem...ruzzian Imperialism. That was the mistake made in 1989-1991 period of "the peace dividend". Let's keep in mind that ruzzia has an economy the SAME SIZE as Florida (the 4th largest US state by GDP). Even if you put the USSR back together it would only have an economy the same size as Texas (second largest US state by GDP). For those vatniks that want to mention "but price power parity", ruzzia cannot build a gazzillion "cheaper" Su-35's and T-90 tanks, barely 100 jets and 200 tanks a year each. So what is it going to spend the rest of its worthless rubles on ? 🤡
