Most amateurs lose money because they are guided by emotions and hype. A good financial planner alleviates that. Everyone who thinks they can "play" the market should realize that half of all profits made in the market are from dividends - not get-rich-quick deals. Very certain that this market will recover. I hate that the market can be manipulated by a group of people. They go about killing small investors but i am of the opinion of being unemotional towards the market, don’t FUD or FOMO no matter what, have in mind that the market will always present an opportunity so be patient.

That right, I started investing sometime in 2018 and by late 2019, I pulled a profit of over $750,000 with no prior investing knowledge or skill, I was basically just following the guidelines set by the financial advisor I use, so you don't necessarily need to be a perfect investor or do the hardworks, just have a professional guide you.

Zahair O'Brian From the little I learnt from my advisor who's a pundit, Inflation mostly affects stock yields in that, as inflation erodes the value of a dollar of earnings, it makes it difficult for the market too gauge the current value of the companies that make up market indexes. On the flip side, inflation favors value stocks (if you know how to take advantage of this in the market). I gain always from inflation because of the picks my advisor makes. I hope this helps.

@viviangall1786 I'd say invest in good projects and DYOR if you don't understand, Dollar cost average instead of going all in at once, so as to give you a good value for your money. Also i'd recommend seeking a proven fiduciary Financial-Advisor who will guide, and show you the ropes as you are just starting out. I mean the likes of "Nicole Deanne McKay" just like i did
