You didn't mention where electricity comes from: mostly fossil fuels, hydro, or nuclear plants. Only a miniscule amount is produced by whirlygigs and sunshine. Also, batteries require materials that are mined, often in places like China where thousands of human moles die every year in slavery type conditions.
