The women were actively being paid MORE and had MORE BENIFITS but their Bonuses for Championships which the LEAGUE had no control of is why they Sued the League. And Demanded the same LOWER PAY and less benefits that the men were Receiving. But after they got what they wanted they have NOT STOPPED trying to stall them getting exactly what they DEMANDED they get.... HA HA HA. at the TIME the women were paid Salary, so they were paid REGARDLESS of if they played or NOT, The mens Contract REQUIRED they pay or the league could DENY them their pay, didn't think that through did you. They had a LONG LIST of benefits including medical Coverage paid by the team and Paid Maternity Leave that was given BEFORE and thats GONE NOW, and they are REQUIRED to pay for their OWN medical Coverage JUST LIKE THE MEN DO. Bet when the Bean Counters realized the Mistakes the Girls were making they Cried Tears of Joy. example - "WE want to be paid less, have less benefits, and be treated JUST as badly as you treat the male teams because WE DEMAND EQUALITY." For the lasts TEN YEARS the NBA has fully supported all Financial Obligations for the WNBA with except of this PAST YEAR. So 1 out of the last 10 years the WNBA has made enough money to pay the Gym upkeep, Health Benefits, and their own players.
