  2. This will not happen. If it was really cheaper to produce in US, it would not be importing as much as it has being doing for decades. Tariffs will lead to higher inflations in the US and poorer living standards

  3. Your motivation to say US is great and draw a negative picture of EU is driving your comment. Many of your reasoning is not based on data or facts. Are just speculation and poor generalizations. There are many factors to consider. China is not the biggest creditor of US; Japan is. There are European countries also buying US bonds,billions of bonds. EU has just set up a massive investment scheme for defense. A good step to take would be to phase out the multi billion purchasing of America made military hardware and start buying the as good as European designed and made weapons. There is a big push in this direction now. US subsidizing European economies?!? You are joking. Are you writing from US or Russia?
