If Trump talks about taking US out of NATO, NATO shall remind him that US alone will not be in condition to face a threat composition of China, Iran, Russia and North Korea simultaneously. US will need the help of NATO. The benefits created by NATO go in several directions, to Europe and other partners as well as to US. US is not only having costs. Surely US also has lots of benefits by staying in the Alliance. The cooperation US got from NATO members in Afghanistan is an example.
