Say what you want about Kirlian photography, but when I bought my FLIR thermal camera and started working with it, one thing that amazed me is that thermal can show you if a tree is alive or not, and what parts are diseased. Living trees actually are warmer than dead trees, and if you cut a limb off of a living tree, lay it down, and come back an hour later it will show on thermal as cold and dead. I never would have believed it unless I saw it myself.
