  10. Electric cars are not feasible until we have widespread nuclear power. Otherwise you're actually using a less efficient mode, burning millions of tons of dirtier coal and natural gas, and more and more of it, to charge more and more electric cars. Solar and Wind are 1800's technology. We need to be allowed to move forward by the environmental terrorists holding our future hostage. The more resistance to nuclear power, the more you support coal and fossil fuel use. If we could deploy current-gen fast breeder reactor nuclear, a technology perfected and shelved years ago, not only would be become a 100% emissions free NATION, driving all electric everything, the costs would come down AND the power plants would be fueled by the existing nuclear waste from old-tech nuclear that we have no storage options for. ALSO, this would solve any water crisis globally. With that level of abundant, inexpensive electricity generation, mass-industrial scale water desalination becomes feasible. The oceans hold 1000x more salt water than all of the freshwater ever used by man in our entire existence. We have enough fuel to run such reactors to power the entire globe for more than 1000 years, at ZERO carbon. You say gas is dead, but idiots like you opposing nuclear have murdered us all BY KEEPING US ON GAS, fucker.

  12. You type as you crash your car without those unnecessary and complex anti-lock brakes into the rear of a van and die because you skipped the optional overly-complex seatbelts and airbags. The real irony is the car you just described is FAR more expensive as those are nearly all standard features you'd have to special order to remove on nearly all vehicles. I love that you've gone so out of the way to find something wrong with a car that only exists for about 5 people in this country and only 25 people will ever own at any price, but the cost of even doing that is far more than the value of the time it took, for zero gain. It just looks like a infinite cost dumbfuckery exercise to me. The car is expensive but our time is priceless and now lost, never to be regained regardless of wealth.

  13. Should be angrier that with that 5l v8 it's making 1400hp. Makes every other larger V8 pretty useless and anemic. Why aren't these supercar v12s making 5000hp? Why aren't mustang GTs making even half as much, 700hp? What gives? This proves far more power is possible, and means other v8s need to catch up

  14. Go watch how it's made. Go look at how it's turbos are the sole turbos made in history with 3d printing, and why that's astonishingly better. Go watch how they make those wheels that probably cannot be reproduced by any other existing actor.

  15. "Starting"? I think that started in about the 40s or so. Probably much earlier. I had a friend who mortgaged his house to buy an all original 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe with the flathead V8 and only 1000 original miles, had been in a barn for 70 years...and the next week a random guy driving by his house spotted him detailing it and offered him double what he paid for it on the spot. He turned him down, it was his dream car, and in that condition one of a kind. To him, it was priceless. Beautiful ride, too. Was featured in a few car calendars.
