@aralornwolf3140 are you accusing the Senate whom confirmed Barr as coconspirators in this obstruction? Democrats Joe Manchin, Doug Jones and Kyrsten Sinema voted to confirm Barr.

Being guilty of obstruction of justice with no underlying crime to obstruct the investigation of makes as much sense as being charged solely with resisting arrest without charges for an underlying reason you were being arrested for in the first place. You did nothing wrong, but interfered with us finding you did nothing wrong, which is a crime. Terrifying. Kafkaesque.

@badvermin I know. I'm just lamenting how fucked it is. We're not talking about being not guilty, we're talking about being innocent, as in not even needing defense or acquittal as you don't even get accused of a crime...yet that can lead to prosecution. This is how twisted and wretched we've made such a once-great system. I also feel Prof James Duane would say this perfectly illustrates his overarching legal advice to never cooperate in any investigation of you in any way,and never speak to police or investigators at all for any reason. And why should you if your own cooperation, even exonerating cooperation, could land you in prison?

The great thing about the law is it's all entirely opinion, so he can be correct, Barr is also correct, Mueller is correct, as every aspect of this is stated opinion. One change of opinion, say, from SCOTUS, can negate all these opinions.
