I recently read some advice for parents that seems like it would work just as well with people you genuinely care about, if they tell you they're struggling or having difficulty, just telling them you hear them and I BELIEVE IN YOU, can go a long way. I know if I told a buddy I was nervous about something and their response was "Why? You have this, I believe in you, you'll do great" that would be huge.

  2. I recently looked at a directory of local therapists, I want to see someone in person, and I want to see a man. There are none. There's a hundred women counselors nearby, but I want someone I can relate to. It's a serious issue.
