  1. $8/month for verification makes more sense than verification being worth billions of dollars, seeing as you cannot buy it and it's only granted to insiders at the moment. You either allow everyone to get verified, or you remove it entirely.

The blue check could have started as a way to show who is an extermination target by the government, once it became the hot thing it wouldn't matter. Free speech is another example, remember when it used to not be perceived as bigoted Naziism? Like 10 years ago lol.

  4. Here's a great Twitter idea: you can't follow or even tweet at any politician you aren't a constituent of. Facebook has for a decade had the constituent badge so a public figure knows you are commenting as a verified constituent. AOC has millions of followers, but only 700k constituents, which means she has to IGNORE some of those 700k to listen to people she does NOT REPRESENT, a huge disservice to her actual district.
