I had to look forever to find ONE company that makes hair removal cream JUST FOR men. 1000 versions for women. Men pay the blue tax on those special products.   9. When I was allowed a beard at work, I went to a beard specialist barber every three weeks and paid him $35 per visit. I have no clue what he charged, I always gave two $20s and only $5 in change. I went to high school with him, we've been friends 30 years, $35/hr every month is cheap to get an amazing cut and talk to a friend.

  10. I also just spent $150 on a Braun Series 7 which is THE sole and only electric razor my barber directly recommended. It works ok. Not blade close but enough to meet uniform standard.

  11. I've thought about a shavette, which is the full size single use disposable straight razor my barber uses on me. Think of a safety razor but it's no safe and the blade is 5"

  12. Just realized, 7 years I was getting my beard trimmed by my licensed expert, not once, ever, for any reason did he use scissors of any kind on my beard. Special clippers only, and very sparingly. Has to be for a good reason, because he always did my hair ONLY By hand with scissors, no clippers on my head hair. Again, has to be for a reason. He makes way more than I ever will so can't judge.
