  2. Humility is the ultimate confidence. Sure, I donated a million dollars, so what. Yeah, I ran that 10K in 59 minutes, I do that all the time, big deal? Yep, I'm the supervisor at work, and I didn't even want the job, they just gave it to me, I'm pretty good. The bigger the accomplishment, the bigger the downplay of it you have to do.

  3. It's like I tell women, so you don't want kids? Ok, that removes you from my consideration. What, whyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?!? Because the point of all this is kids. I'm not putting in all the work to have a roommate. I already live alone in the house I own. I want a lasting legacy. If you don't want kids, cool, i'll f around as much as you want, but I'll be gone if another woman offers more than you can. You refuse to serve your purpose, I refuse to serve you.

  8. Reminds me of Olly London when he got eye surgery to look Korean, and he tweeted "I have the eyes now", like he's acquired some ancient artifact that imbues him with some preternatural powers lol. These are my eyes too, had them a long time, they're even paid off, they were a gift from my dad.

  10.  @pugsymalone6539  I hired my first employee in my 9 year career the other week. He had almost as much expereince as me, is on track to get all the same licenses I have, and has worked at more treatment plants than I have. My interview process was giving him a tour, describing things, answering his very knowledgeable and relevant questions, then just saying "I can see you know what you're doing, do you want to give us a try?" | I'd basically already hired him on paper because his resume was great, so the interview was basically a formality. I need people, I'm not trying to disqualify, I'm trying to convince lol. Luckily in my org, at the moment, I'm my own HR dept.
