  1. I seem to notice a running theme from all of these events and disasters: nuclear power is exceedingly safe WHEN OPERATED PROPERLY AND CONSCIENTIOUSLY. It's when operators ignore warnings, cut corners, make mistakes, or are outright negligent, that dangerous events occur.
